Pierre Chaurand obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Biochemistry and Mass Spectrometry from the University of Paris Sud in Orsay, France. He is interested in research that combines cutting-edge mass spectrometry technology and other technologies for profiling, identifying, and mapping the spatial distribution of proteins directly in biological samples and the translation of these exciting new molecular technologies to the investigation of diseased tissues.
